GamePark released the GP32 in 2001 in South Korea. Its open design let anyone write and share software, which made it a favourite for homebrew and emulators.
Alongside a small run of commercial games, it built a lively scene of ports, tools and fan-made titles.
Emulators and its own SDK keep GP32 software running on modern systems.
