Tandy sold the TRS-80 through Radio Shack from 1977, one of the earliest home computers to reach a wide market. Its black-and-white display suited text and blocky graphics.
It became an early home for text adventures and role-playing, including Zork, the Temple of Apshai series and Dancing Demon.
sdltrs and other emulators run the TRS-80 library on modern systems.
