GCE released the Vectrex in 1982 with a built-in monochrome vector monitor, so its games drew crisp glowing lines instead of pixels. Plastic overlays added colour.
Its library, led by the pack-in Mine Storm, leaned on arcade-style vector games like Star Castle and Scramble.
ParaJVE and other emulators run the Vectrex library on modern systems.
