Computer slider puzzles saw a small degree of popularity sometime during the 90s. They were easy to program and appealed to a casual gaming audience.
A Midsummer DayTime's Dream Plus uses the slider puzzle as a vehicle to showcase the character design talents of its programmer. The game's creator has a decent character gallery; the game offers partial or near completed solutions for those who just want to view his designs.
The music, while not bad, is rather repetitive and not the most conducive to relaxing with a puzzle. While the designs have a pin-up feel to them, the art is mostly tasteful and only the final puzzle image is lewd.
