I don't know whose idea it was to follow up on the first game with not Chuck Rock but his son,his infant son....should have been fired.
A good idea on paper but not so in practice.
Everything is a challenge,it's a slog to get through a level,if you were his dad you'd throw a boulder to kill an enemy,now you're reduced to crawling about on the floor,or engaging in some tedious puzzle to progress past a bad guy,and playing as what is essentially a baby feels like being cheated out of a real sequel,as it trades on some bad jokes,old ideas and some boring filler platform game play,the limitation of being not even 2 feet tall is a novelty that wears off after level 1.
The whole stone age dinosaur thing is old by the time this game came out,a wasted opportunity.
