"Mega Man X8 is available for a small price on the following website"

It really isn't. The original PC version had way more language options, including the posibility to change the dubs. The version available on Steam do NOT have those (since it's just a console port, unlike the 2005 release)

I got this game in Pakistan, got it in those cheap CDs that go for 30 rupees it was collection of metal slug games and in there was pc version of x8,I was very young at that time, I played this game with keyboard, didn't knew anything about MegaMan but with this game I got into MegaMan x games and played the whole series,I have beaten this game on all difficulties with keyboard it's one of my favorites,I still play it like every year bc I grew with I know all the secrets.

The version of MMX8 is not the PC version but rather the console version. I agree with hellblade64, it's abandonware

Best game and it's 3D even graphics not bad if you wanna play it in 2023

Except the versions of Mega Man X 1-8 that are available through Steam are ports of the Console versions of the games. NOT the original PC versions. So technically the PC versions are STILL abandonware.
