Very memorable game for me. Quite dark and dirty atmosphere created by the music. What really stood out at the time though was once enemies were killed they stayed on screen (think persistant corpses nowadays.. it's the same thing). It was somewhat of a technical marvel at the time however, as it was probably one of the first games to be able to do this. Due to computingg limitations at the time, enemy (sprites) would often just disappear when you killed them. However in Nemesis, they stay on screen and the more you killed the more they would stack up on top of each other. The game incorperated this ffeature into it's gameplay by making it a necessity to kill so many as to create a walkable ladder out of the corpses in order to traverse high around the levels like a ladder or ramp basically. Dark, but cool lol. Music was decent too... Don;t think it was Rob Hubbard or Martin Galway who were probably the top musicians at the time for the 8bits (c64) but I think it was someone who was equally as talented if I'm not wrong.. probably thouggh haha.
Wouldn't say it was a great game, but it did have it's own dirty charm in it's own way. :p

A very tough game. Fantastic music (I actually have this on my music playlist) There's a slowness to the walking pace of the character that is part of the mood. The bodies don't vanish they just pile up. Finding the right place to moving to the next level is a bit of guess work though, sometimes you have to pile the bodies up to walk over them to get there.

Run-Stop is ESC on CCS64, and Capslock on VICE.

I need to know which key-bind starts the game. It is Run/Stop, but what is the corresponding key on the modern day keyboard?

I got as far as the title screen, but have no idea how to get the game started. It says press Run/Stop to start the game, but I haven't found the corresponding key-bind for that yet.
