ok I figured it out, to play the game in DOS BOX web emulator the default game executable that they select for you does not work, you need to change the game executable, not in the DOSBOX interface, but right above the dos box window there is a drop down menu were u can select game version and game executable, from there you can choose UNCHARTED WATERS 2:NEW HORIZONS/KOEI.COM from the GAME EXECUTABLE list or any other option and run the game.
If you're having problems loading and running the online DOS version, choose UNCHARTED WATERS 2:NEW HORIZONS/KOEI.COM from the GAME EXECUTABLE list. The game should now load and run perfectly well. Enjoy!

REDUCED ATTACKS - Enter your name as "Black Beard" and you will almost never be attacked! Also, some of the ships will just give up when you attack them!
EASY MONEY - Deposit as much money as you can into a Marco polo bank at the end of a month and stay in the lodge until that month is over. Then return to the bank and you will receive 3% more than you deposited. Do this every month for extra cash.
BUILDING THE BARGE - Go to Bristol and invest $50,000 in the shipyard every month for 3 to 5 months. When this is done, ask the shipyard worker for a new ship. He will show you several new ships including frigates and Barges.
