@NASTYA - You need to disable SRAM when playing this in an emulator. The physical release of Puggsy does not have SRAM but the game still tries to write to it because cartridge copiers commonly did have it. If Puggsy detects that it is able to successfully write to SRAM then it knows it's not a legitimate copy and it runs its copy protection routine which automatically nerfs the game and turns it into a "demo".

This is only a CUT version, so after you finish some levels the game stops and they ask you to buy a game. All saves burn...
