Skate or Die and Ski or Die are collections of cool mini-action games with tournament mode, not unlike Epyx' "Games" series.
Each of these games features 6 mini-games, ranging from the well-known (skate & ski racing) to some pleasant surprises (skating ring competition & snowball fights). They're both fun and addictive, with excellent controls, although not up to par with Epyx games.

lol the skate shop owner on the Spectrum is pure nightmare fuel.
Seriously - I don't care how much you like skateboarding - you'd turn around and walk straight out.
Totally rad game.
Folks, Skate or Die runs perfectly under DosBox, but you have to either unzip the archive to a staging directory, mount that as a separate disk and run the install batch file, or manually remove the read-only file attribute flags. Do either of those things and the game runs perfectly.
I recommend configuring for Tandy graphics and sound with either scanline or RBG2x scaler for a 1988 accurate best-case DOS version experience.
I remember playing this game when I was 6 y.o., and it always crashed the PC when I tried to quit. For some reason, I always thought the forced shutdown was related to the game title, Skate or DIE... topkek.
The game words. You need to remove the 'read only' mark from all files, that made it work for me (dosbox).
Playing the free style / high jump is weird I don't know what the controls are.
wont run, asks for graphics mode Cga Ega Tandy, when you choose you only get a black screen.im using dfend, seems to be a sound related problem
Shut up and skate!
Works perfectly with Boxer, no install required.
DosBox 0.74 + Win7 (64bit) - DID NOT WORK
Bummer too - loved this game as a kid - played it on my commodore 64!
