the right game executable to choose is STUNT.BAT

If so, try launch the game using DOS-BOX. You install dos-box and just drag "Stunt.exe" onto the Dos-box desktop shortcut, and it will load.
Also, have you run the cfged.exe ?
Wow, who thought it was a good idea to start the game with a quiz, that nobody can solve without being really lucky??? If you give a wrong answer 2 times, you get booted to dos.
Why it stops?! I tried this game both on win XP and 7 and it doesn't loading!
