For anyone who still enjoys this game: I've been testing a browser recreation of Tank Wars 3.2.
I gave OpenAI Codex the task of reverse-engineering the DOS game and writing a new HTML/JavaScript engine. Codex does the coding; I compare it with the original and report differences. We're trying to preserve the original weapons, computer opponents, graphics and PC Speaker sounds.
It's still being refined, so feedback from longtime players is very welcome. This is an independent recreation, not an official release by Kenneth Morse.

This site is called Abandonware, not Shareware! If only the demo is available, you should not keep it on this site.
