  • Export saves: export the savegame files from your browser, so you can switch to another browser or computer. You can also use them in an emulator installed on your computer.
  • Import saves: import savegames that you exported before with the Export saves button.
  • Download disk: export the whole game from your browser, with all your savegames. Useful to switch to an emulator installed on your computer.
  • Reset game files: if you somehow messed up the game files, you can reset them to an exact copy of the original.
  • Reset saves: delete all savegames from your browser. We recommend that you export them first: there is no turning back!
Import saves?

The saves in the zip file replace your saves that have the same name. If the game runs, it starts again.

Reset game files?

This puts back all the files that the game came with, also the files that you deleted or changed. Files that the game made, such as saves, stay. If the game keeps a save in one of its own files, that save is lost. If the game runs, it starts again.

Delete your saves?

This deletes all your saves and all your changes to this game. You cannot undo this. To keep a copy, export your saves first. If the game runs, it starts again.

i tried using the elfstones on the 3 black riders in easternmost room (which ends the game) while one or more companions aren't in the same room, then save that game to the second game. (i also had to make sure that companion was wearing the ring) then i was in nowhere and most in-game things (the balrog, the black rider, strider, etc) where there, and the message with one squeeze the balrog kills strider would constantly repeat itself. this is because the rooms in the first game aren't in the second. (hint: select the game execution file to change to the second game)

Not a good game. Multiples of the same object making commands rough. No clear direction on which way to travel so it will take multiple losses till you memorize it. If you have multiples of the same item with you, you can end up putting items on other characters who will not give it back. There is no way to ask them to give it back or order them to either. Sam is probably the best choice because he can carry the most which makes Frodo's presence nearly pointless. No stat screen. No sense of progression. Only way to remove equipped items is to straight drop them or put them in a container.

Actually want to play 10 Aug. 2017

I am actually interested in playing this game, but I can't figure out what to type. It seems weirdly specific.
Example: I try to divide backpacks between Frodo, Sam & Pippin. I have no say in who gets what, and there is no way to specify (???)
When I figured I can't figure even this out, I decided to fuck with it and smoke some pipeweed. I got as far as lighting a match but I cannot get the pipeweed in the pipe / basically can't smoke. So far only walked east a bunch until the riders give me the evil eye, but I don't wanna think about getting past them, before I can make basic stuff at the beginning work. Please, if you got info and are willing to help a guy out, put it or a link to something helpful in the comments. I would appreciate the hell out of it.
