The definition for 'Vignette' appears, to let you know this is meant to be a small snippet of a larger tale. And it is very brief. It is in the style of one of those Escape room games. It has a tantalizing narrative that has Lovecraftian overtones but... this is a vignette.
If you're looking to kill a few minutes this is not a bad option. The creator recommends playing the prequel : https://www.myabandonware.com/game/heartland-deluxe-lvp
