Fujitsu launched the FM-7 in 1982 as a cheaper follow-up to the FM-8. It sold well in Japan and became a common home for early Japanese game development.
Its catalogue leaned on role-playing games, adventures and ports shared with other Japanese computers of the day.
Emulators run a share of the FM-7 library on modern systems.
