The German firm Hartung released the Game Master in 1990 as a cheap answer to the Game Boy. Distributors rebadged it across Europe, so the same machine turned up as the Systema 2000, the Super Game and others.
Its screen was small and coarse, which kept the games to plain action, puzzle and sports fare across a library of a few dozen cartridges.
MAME and other emulators run the Game Master library on modern systems.
