Sega launched the 32X in 1994 as a cheap way to give the Genesis 32-bit power while buyers waited for the Saturn. The overlap between the two hurt both, and support faded fast.
Its short library included Knuckles’ Chaotix, a Genesis-plus-32X Doom and Star Wars Arcade.
Emulators such as Genesis Plus GX and Kega Fusion run the 32X library on current hardware.
