Starflight gave you a galaxy of planets to land on, mine and study in 1986, and Might and Magic opened a long series of party role-playing games with a huge map to fill in. Arcade hits like Out Run, Arkanoid and Bubble Bobble also reached home computers, on nearly every machine of the time.
