In Curse of Enchantia, you will help Brad, a young earth boy summoned in the dangerous land of Zeloria, to come back to his home. Zeloria is ruled by the "most depraved witch in the universe", who captured Brad as a core ingredient of a eternal youth spell. The player will have to resolve many enigms to free the land as well as himself. The story refers more or less to The Lion, the Witch & the Wardrobe, part of the Narnya trilogy.
Curse of Enchantia was one the first DOS game released on a CD-ROM and was bundled with a lot of PC later on. The game was appreciated for the great graphics but suffers of the lack of text, a mediocre interface and illogical puzzles. It's sequel was never produced.

The corrupted DOS version has been fixed.
You can transfer your save file to the fixed version by copying the file CURSE.SAV to the DATA folder of the fixed version.
If audio or mouse isn't working, run SETUP.EXE and select the options. Mouse may already be selected, that's fine it *should* work once you confirm and quit setup. I think it just needed the CFG file
Unfortunately, DOS version here has some corrupted files. While in early levels they only cause minor visual glitches, there is a place in the game where after opening a door whole game just freezes. Good thing that game saves can be reused in "other" DOS versions.
Fun game, overall. Impossible to game over, but taking breaks often is recommended due to high density of moon logic puzzles. Some action sequences got a bit frustrating, though.
My first pc game... lovely memories! It was an awesome time.
Can't get the mouse to work
I had this in the early '90s, on the Amiga. Had a crazy logic, all it's own. Crazy, but somehow worthwhile puzzles. Nice to see DosBox put to good use.
Using DOSBOx on my Win 7 computer.
The screen freeze and turn to black always at same point ;-(
Is there somethong to do ?? H E L P
This one was only available on the pirate nets in the Spanish version. We naturally called it "Curse of Enchilada" :)
Does this work on iPad?
I can't get the .zip file to open/extract! :(
