Metal Marines

I loved this game and have never been able to get it running on a modern machine. And my luck with VMs always seems to suck, too. They never work.
I'd love to play this again. I can't believe it's not on GoG!

Are there any cheats for the game?

back in the early 2000s i played this game from the start to the very end and won it all the way. it was a great game and also the reason i have come to download here to play again.

i have it on disks and i played it multiplayer long ago. though without i drive i can no longer install it. good thing that it is available here.

The last couple of levels are nearly impossible. Luckily, since the game is so old, you can edit the main .EXE (carefully) in a text editor (keep character counts the same) and alter things like starting resources and the buildings on both islands. Even make your own islands if you want. There are actually quite a few multiplayer islands included I never knew about. These mappings are near the end of the file.

For playing 3.1, 32 bit old game, download small programe name OTVDM, read guide and direct play on Windows 10 / 11 x64 also. Have fun !

This game would have been a great promotion for making full use of 'Windows', although it was never popular, even at the time. It's a good game noones heard of, especially the PC version.

This game needs a remake with added multiplayer support.

This is one of the absolute finest RTS games ever. I loved it in '93 and I've been greatly missing it recently. Me likey Metal Marines!
