I remember this from a shareware collection CD that had very few full games, but those were just slightly better than the shareware titles. The games were categorized by genre like puzzle, platforming, ect. Montezooma was one of those. Somehow the music is muted, on the features I remember the most, not only the goofy pre-rendered, clay looking figures -especially the turtles that upon shooting, it blows and spreads into 3 smaller version of it.

Absolutely no idea where dad got this game from. I played this a LOT as a child, ages ago. The childhood trauma is a feature, not a bug.
