Populous

The game seems to work, but it asks for a password, I can not get past the password. I guess I will try POP.BAT as someone suggested. But I don't know why that would bypass a password. I am on a Mac using Boxer.

Great! But the SNES version is bar none the best version! Still, Thank you very very much for uploading this! I loved this game growing up!

Thank you for this game !!!

I'd like to try this game

For those who cannot get the program running:
Open the POP.BAT file, not POPULOUS.EXE.

Try the Amiga version with a decent emulator.
Works for Me.

As another poster has mentioned, I can only run the keyboard editor, but not the POPULOUS.EXE file with DOSBox. Also, this game is currently on GOG, is this correlated?

edit pop.bat to say populous vga adlib sound : it sounds better :D

dosent work on windows 7 64x bit

I bought this game on origin and I couldn't even activate. Now I had it for free and it works.
*FACEPALM*

Bummer deal all around. Shame on everyone.

Incompatible with newer windows, too. Fail.

The gog.com download is not free, so why is it there? This site is supposed to be about freeware

Can someone please put the manual. I can't get through the verification check.

still trying to download it :S

this game has always rocked...
