Following on the heels of War in the Middle Earth come the second World Builder game from Synergistic Software, this time based on the intriguing legend of King Arthur. Set in the times immediately after his mysterious death, you control knights of the round table as they hunt King Arthur's missing sword, "Excalibur" to vanquish evil lords and unify England. The game is fun to play, but puzzles (if any) are easy, combat is very simplistic, and the dialogues are a bit too wordy and tedious.

While the game does take great strives to depict the Arthurian legend as close to the source as possible it doesn't make up for the blatantly unfair, clearly rigged gameplay where the game itself will intentionally sabotage you into situations where you simply lose automatically, best case in point is chasing the Saxon bandit who has the lord's daughter kidnapped who can lead you right into the path of an invading army, and if you try to change your course the game conveniently informs you that you no longer have control over your own characters. This coupled with the agonizingly slow gameplay, obtuse and very touchy interface makes the game more a headache than entertainment.
How do I play the game after I download it? Do I have to burn this to a disk to play it?
