  • Export saves: export the savegame files from your browser, so you can switch to another browser or computer. You can also use them in an emulator installed on your computer.
  • Import saves: import savegames that you exported before with the Export saves button.
  • Download disk: export the whole game from your browser, with all your savegames. Useful to switch to an emulator installed on your computer.
  • Reset game files: if you somehow messed up the game files, you can reset them to an exact copy of the original.
  • Reset saves: delete all savegames from your browser. We recommend that you export them first: there is no turning back!
Import saves?

The saves in the zip file replace your saves that have the same name. If the game runs, it starts again.

Reset game files?

This puts back all the files that the game came with, also the files that you deleted or changed. Files that the game made, such as saves, stay. If the game keeps a save in one of its own files, that save is lost. If the game runs, it starts again.

Delete your saves?

This deletes all your saves and all your changes to this game. You cannot undo this. To keep a copy, export your saves first. If the game runs, it starts again.

I had a demo of this sometime in the 1990's and loved it. I'd been addicted to Tetris years before via the gameboy version. When I got a free demo of Squarez via one of the gaming magazines, it was on a floppy disk; and, I loved it.

Sadly, I never got around to buying the full game, and for years, couldn't remember the name of the game. Oddly, it came to me earlier this month out of the blue, just before I posted my last message regarding the online version not working.

The plethora of power ups that either helped or hindered your progress, for example the pink splooge power up caused your pieces to get stuck, the acid one, on the other hand, allowed you to destroy splooges or stuck pieces.

It's a Brilliant version of Tetris and much more interesting. Especially as you also play against an AI opponent.

The online version keeps failing to load. Can an admin look into it as I've not played this game in nearly 30 years. Was so pleased to find it here. I had forgotten the name of the game and for some reason, while commenting on a breakout game, the name came to me, even though I wasn't specifically thinking about it. Weird, but great. If you can't fix the online version, I'll just have to reinstall DOSBox and play it that way.

Thank you
