In grognard M. Evan Brooks' opinion, this game is "... similar to the boardgame Hitler's War , except the computer interface was much more awkward. The graphics were primitive and the documentation somewhat sparse." Martin Scholz would later revisit the subject in 1993 and designed Clash of Steel, a much-needed improvement over this embarrassingly unplayable and frustrating game.

This was such an awesome game ! I used blietzkrieg tactics to fan out behind enemy lines.
Also there is a link to the manual on this site: http://www.lemonamiga.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=9469&sid=23c50152c164bab70b6f681d03cb9ac7
Typing in "r-storm" in dos box allows you to type anything for the password without needing the right answers from the manual.
I remember sitting with my brother and playing this game, with a pile of snacks from Aldi and cola. -One sign of this being a proper strategy game, to me, is that if you attack a country like Poland without having mobilized reserves; you are getting minced.
Good times!
what is the password?
Oh my! How much i loved this game. I saw this in a magazine first and bought the C64 version right the other day. The other ports were similar to each other.
