After breaking into the puzzle genre with Boston Bomb Club, Silmarils continued to diversify into unfamiliar territories with Storm Master, a game that combines action/adventure mix with strategic elements. Set up a spy network, wage wars, build windmills and flying machines, and trade with others in your quest to become the Storm Master. The notorious difficulty level is manageable this time, making this more playable than most Silmarils games.

Yeah, this was difficult and obtuse, i don't think i ever created a ship that actually worked! Silmarils games looked cool and interesting, but they were often impregnable. I remember this, and getting battered by everything in Ishar were some of the sad points of atari gaming as a kid, wanted to love them, but they were just too damn difficult! Nice to reactivate a few more brain cells - I've been working my way through from A-Z, surprising what memories revisting games from your youth trigger, good for the brain! good to see myabandonware still running!
