Tech Deck Dude: Bare Knuckle Grind was a game that came in bundles with the Tech Deck Dudes toys by Digital Playset. The gameplay is similar to Tony Hawk's Pro Skater games, but simplified. There were 4 discs in total: Down Town, Far East Town, Freak Town and Space Town; you could install the game from any of them, and the rest of the discs were installed as expansions, adding new levels and playable characters
How to Play
The game works unstable on modern systems, it may freeze, lag or simply crash. We recommend to run the game through dgVoodoo 2: to use it copy the DLL-files from the MS/x86 folder, dgVoodooCpl.exe and dgVoodoo.conf to the game folder, next to executable file, the run dgVoodoo Control Panel (dgVoodooCpl.exe) as administrator and change the settings; after that close it and run the game. Also, with dgVoodoo 2 you can run the game in high screen resolutions and with Antialiasing or Texture filtering, that settings can be enabled in dgVoodoo Control Panel. The game with dgVoodoo 2 has been tested on Windows 10, it works fine
Comments and reviews
For people trying to install on Windows 98se and are running into errors. Try this, it worked for me.
right-click on the Desktop, select Properties, then click on the Settings tab, click the Advanced button, then click the Performance tab and lower the Hardware Acceleration slider by 1-2 notches. After doing this, both the installer and the game worked for me.
