Tapwave released the Zodiac in 2003, a Palm OS handheld aimed at gamers, with a wide screen, analog pad and strong media features. It arrived just before the Nintendo DS and PSP and did not survive them.
It ran the Palm games library along with a small run of titles built for its wide screen and controls.
Palm OS emulators run part of the Zodiac library on modern systems.
