Blades of Exile

I found this on a shareware disc that was arcade game themed by GSP, this was one of the best games of my childhood even If I never got the full version until years later I got the Avernum trilogy as a gift and found out the original trilogy and blades became freeware, such fun times going through what the demo had to offer which was a lot.

Sure had a ton more magic/priest spells In this compared to Avernum, If you really wanted, you could open every door In a town and cast quickfire.

This was the first videogame I ever paid for back in the 90s. And I loved it. I had loved all of Spiderweb Software’s games since playing Exile from a shareware disc in fourth grade. I also obsessed over the game making aspect of Blades for a long time, determined as a little kid to make something amazing. It really sparked my creativity.

I'm pretty sure I played this game or one very similar back in the day. It came with the free trial of AOL in a games package. I sucked at it and never got far. If this is the same game there's definitely a Windows 95 version of the game, can you upload that version?

This is a really nice Adventure game, it has custom campaigns you can download from the internet. It is really easy to pick up and use, but sometimes the games can be difficult to win. After a very large amount of hours playing this my only real problem with it was it will continuously spawn enemies in the Combat zones. While this keeps the action alive It also turns into an annoyance while trying to explore the often rich background in the game. Keep in mind most combat zones do not have the continuous spawn. I would definitely give this game a go.
