This is an excellent fantasy strategy game that could very well have influenced SSG in their design of acclaimed Warlords series. Control fantastic creatures, each with different strengths and abilities, in your quest to control the entire known world.
Both compaign and single scenario modes are replete with well-designed maps and competent AI. QQP's hallmark player history is of course also present in this overlooked classic.

Does anyone have a link to the manual? I played and LOVED this game back in the day, along with its "sister" game - The Lost Admiral - but need the manual bc I can't recall how to interface certain things like range attacks. I didn't mean to CHARGE the gargoyle with the catapult, duh! lol thanks...
I've been playing it ever since i got it. (3 months) love the new levels.
loved this game in its day
Excellent old school turn-based strategy game. I'm a huge fan of Age of Kings (now playing the new "HD" version) and I got in ten to fifteen more hours out of Conquered Kingdoms after not having played it since around 1995 or so.
I downloaded this and ran it in dosbox on my wife's pathetic little Vaio netbook with no problem.
The graphics are of course terrible, and a tad glitchy at times, but the game plays great. You can tweak the settings in dosbox to speed things up or slow them down on the fly.
