Crash 'n Burn

The Total Eclipse demo is part of the original Crash ‘n Burn disc, so your image is probably fine. In Batocera, open the game’s Advanced game options and set the 3DO timing hack to timing_hack1 (Crash ‘n Burn). Also turn off threaded rendering/DSP, since this game freezes with it. If it still loops, press Start or A/B/C during the demo to check that your controller is actually registering.

It is not just a demo of total eclipse, there is an issue with using this in an emulator, it can be fixed, search for the problem online, you will find the fix.

Hah. That just happened to me when I downloaded from another site. I got a demo for Total Eclipse. Good to know I am not the only one. There is a bogus file out there.
