Designer extraordinaire Dani (nee Dan) Bunten's third game for SSI is Cytron Masters, a fun futuristic 2-player strategy game that not only pushes the Apple II's hardware to its limits, but also is one of the first truly playable real-time games.
Two players battle it out in a battlefield, testing their wits and quick decisions against another. The computer player is also included, but its low intelligence makes this game fun against real humans only. Overall, another classic Dani Bunten game that may not stand the test of time as well as M.U.L.E., but is still an amazing feat of programming in its own right. Too bad a PC version of this was never released.

Where's the apple version? That one was far better than the Atari and IBM versions.
Havent got it to work yet,
BUT I got an apple emulator to claim it was trying to startup , so that Seems like progress. has anyone gotten ti working?
This is an Apple installation, not DOS. There apparently is none for DOS for this game. The link is incorrect as shown on this page.
Truly ahead of its time.
