Lordy - you need to edit the registry key. The game looks for a registry key which was deleted several version of Windows ago.
DxWnd has a profile for ICC to override this. Failing that, on Windows 11 you can simply create the registry key in RegEdit with this parameters in this link (link also contains the DxWnd profile):
Done correctly, this will not have any other effect except to fool ICC into thinking the font is the right size. The game will boot - janky as hell, but it'll boot.

Anyone got this working on WIn 11? Says to change font to small in control panel and there isn't that option in WIn11. Gutted, loved this game as a kid
