How to Play

The game with NoDVD has been tested on Windows 7 64-bit and Windows 10, it works fine. The game supports widescreen, but maximum supported resoliton is 1280x720

Install & play guide:

• Mount the disc image. You will need the utility for mounting disc image files, like WinCDEmu, UltraISO, Alcohol 52%/Alcohol 120% or Daemon Tools Lite
• Install the game (if autorun doesn't work - simply launch the installation from Setup.exe inside the disc)
• After you installed the game - go to the directory with installed game and run sd.reg
• Then install NoCD, simply copy John Daly's ProStroke Golf.exe from the archive and put it into directory with installed game
• Open the directory with the game and find John Daly's ProStroke Golf.exe. Right click on John Daly's ProStroke Golf.exe - Properties - Compatibility - Set "Run this app in compatibility mode with Windows 7" and "Run as administrator"
• Launch the game from John Daly's ProStroke Golf.exe and play. If the game doesn't work in compatibility mode with Windows 7 - try to launch it in compatibility mode with other version of Windows (Win98/ME, Win2000, Vista, etc.)

If the game doesn't start - click (or press Enter) on executable file several times, usually the game starts after you click on it few times. Also, try to rename John Daly's ProStroke Golf.exe in ProStrokeGolf.exe, it helped some users

Notes:

• If the installation doesn't start - try to launch Setup.exe in compatibility mode with old version of Windows (98, 2000 or XP)
• It is recommended to install all versions of Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable and NET Framework for the correct work of the game. Also it is recommended to install K-Lite Codec Pack for the correct work of in-game videos
• The game works on DirectX 9, so if you're using Windows 8, 8.1, 10 or 11 - you need to enable DirectPlay: Go to Control Panel, and select 'Programs'. Select 'Turn Windows features on and off', click on 'Legacy Components' and check the box 'DirectPlay'. Select OK, once the installation is done, restart your computer
• The game doesn't have any strict DRM protection, only simple disc check. To disable disc check and play without the disc - use NoCD, it is "cracked" exe-file with disc check removed
• The game has full English audio & text, plus text localization on French, German, Italian & Spanish languages. However, you cannot select the language in the game, the installer will select it automatically based on the language of your system (if you have language any than these 5 - it will select English by default)
