The Windows Version will work on an XP VM (I'm using oracle virtualbox) with 4GB ram,128MB video memory, VMSVGA, default everything else, and Guest Additions.
Remember that Hyper-V is incompatible with XP, and will cause the whole VM to lag or crash!
