to do this you need Frikbot from Moddb, just put the Frikbot Folder in Game Directory. From the Desktop Gl Quake.exe just set this Command, -game frikbot
when you Launch new Multiplayer Game, just type impule 100, for a Bot, more also work,

if you like games like Quake, look for the channel HoFPG in youtube. A very large archive, full of such games !!!

DOS is virtually non-existent anymore, however DOSBox and other DOS emulators exist that run on PC and make these games playable on Windows. Do some research.
