Excerpted from GameSpot's review: "To make a video game that continues the tradition of the hard-hitting, multi-million dollar Terminator movie series, you have to combine engaging action with mind-altering special effects, gratuitous violence, and a solid storyline.
Bethesda Softworks successfully pulls together all of these elements and spits a few more in your face in Terminator: Future Shock[, the fourth game in its line of action games based on the hit movie. Future Shock, as with earlier Terminator titles from Bethesda,]... is a great 3D shooter that combines three types of action: walking, driving, and flying, all of which are a lot of fun to play. [The 3D engine has been vastly improved from the impressive but buggy one used in Terminator: Rampage.]
The post-apocalyptic world you explore is filled with fires, half-buried cars, and incredibly detailed robotic enemies, including the dreaded Terminators. The game world itself is well thought-out: you can enter nearly every building to search for weapons, ammo, and med canisters as the familiar adrenaline-pumping Terminator soundtrack echoes in the background. Your arsenal range from Uzis, plasma rifles, and grenades to the trusty shotgun.
The graphics, music, and sound effects are superb. You can hear Raptors (one of the most prevalent types of robot) sneaking up in packs behind you. The creepy image of a Spiderbot prancing your way should be enough to shake up even a veteran action fan. Looks aside, the real beauty of Terminator: Future Shock is its smooth control system. Using a keyboard/mouse combination, you move quickly and aim accurately as you navigate through Los Angeles. In the driving and flying modes, you're even able to travel in one direction and shoot in another, a feature that comes in very handy when you're running away.
Terminator: Future Shock is a game that should not be missed. Even if you've somehow avoided the hulking mass of first person shooters until now, you should consider checking out this title for its variety of play styles and its overall quality. Cover me, I'll be in here for a long, long time."

@Dragos
That installer was actually very good and honestly, 100% better than the Re-dump available here. Games ran exceptionally well, had WASD by default, and I feel like they had less crashes than default, but that's just me.
Dragos
Dont Post your Stupid Dump here
Can you upload this:https://collectionchamber.blogspot.com/2015/07/the-terminator-collection.html.
Classic game back when I used to rent a PC from Curry's. Great FPS and great gameplay!
The iso version here is in ccd format, it is best to convert it to iso + cue. I did it with isobuster, you mount the ccd image in a virtual drive (I use daemon tools), after converting to iso, you install the game normally (I use DBGL - DosBox Game Launchet), I follow the frontend steps and... ready. Terminator Future shock runs smoothly.
To play with better graphics resolution (640x480), because the max resolution of this game is only 320x200, I recommend install Skynet too, and then play Future Shock from Skynet game. To do this put the ISO files from both games on the same CD folder. Then:
1) install Future Shock in Full Install and all patches,
2) install Skynet (when it asks if you have Future Shock installed say YES), and all patches,
4) the virtual C: should look like this:
C:\CD
C:\SKYNET
C:\SHOCK
5) from now on, you only need one dosbox.conf for SkyNet game.
6) Optionally you can still create and config two dosbox.conf and two batch files for each game. But running only Future Shock will be always 320x200, and SkyNet will be 640x480.
7) each time you run SkyNet or Future Shock from Skynet, you should always check the detail options to make sure it is in 640x480.
Any way to run this with maximum speed? In SVGA it kinda runs like ass in DOSBox even on an i9.
People already mentioned how immersive this game was, really carying the postapocalyptic athmosphere.
In single player.
But:
This was IMMENSE fun in MULTI PLAYER as well! Just as Skynet.
Drive around in truck with operable mounted laser gun, or fly around in hunter/killer to shoot at other players.
In what other games did you get that in that year?
This is ART, perfect game of that age. Super immersive.
I liked this game a lot!
And finished it on my Dos PC.
I was young back then :)
When Bethesda was a good company.
Please help, I cannot run this on my PC, I'm using DosBox V 7.3 or something on Microsoft Vista
Jogo dificil de passar as fazes certas. Mas e Bom...
played the demo of this when I was a kid.. remember you could kill the moon. good times!
Great game tech and concept way ahead of its time.
As with most these transitional games, lacks in fun and level design.
Will never have id replay value but a true gem all fps folks should try!
Top notch shooter, way ahead of its time. Makes Doom look a lot more dated in comparison.
