The "Life Support" package is critical to making this work, FYI, as far as I can tell, and having the Indeo codec seems to be necessary for the in-game videos (which are important to communicating the plot).
The v1.1 patch is the official patch (which made the game run.. it, as shipped on CD, wouldn't run on most systems, so this is critical). And the "v1.1 driver pack" is basically an OpenGL fix.
Finally, I included some info and files re: the "UMX project" (which I haven't fully figured out, but should allow in-game music without the CD image being mounted).

this games gameplay is good. But being stuck inside a level and not knowing how to progress makes me so angry especially when im like 6 levels deep.
I hate how video games are a problem that needs to be solved rather than a fun adventure that I CAN RUN FORWARD THE FUCK THROUGH. I have 1000 other games i need to beat and i dont hate this game. I want to complete it.
Sorry but i LOATHE games where environmental map design is ignored and a ratmaze is created instead (hexen, quake, doom). I want map design to be real life places i want to explore cathedrals, churches, campuses, cemetaries, etc. This game has some OK levels like a snow level with a nice cozy little wooden hut that was quite nice to explore. But every other map just feels like a 40yr old man sitting on the toilet drawing out symettrical maps on a post-it note. Seriously i dont know how games like quake hexen doom, or even tomb raider, ever sold a single copy with map design like that (it gets better in the later TR titles)
funny enough you can go into third person mode with behindview 1 but its a really bad third person mode. You can put almost every first person shooter in existence into third person mode pretty much. And then you can bind X and C to behindview 0 and 1. But the only games ive found where the thirdperson mode is viable for gameplay is MOHAA and star trek elite forces 2 and i highly reccomend you play those in third person mode as they are literally better games in third person mode. And you can always snap back to first person mode at any time. Its amazing.
this game sucks. The developers purposely puzzle-out all the levels so they take absolutely forever to complete.
One level you have to pull a lever in a tower, then you have to do it like 13x more times in 13 other towers. But the towers have no doors so you might have to go up or down a level just to find each door. This mindless level design and puzzle maps continue throughout the game. Making the levels predictable and awful.
No levels are a quick-runthrough. Gay puzzles every single time.
i dont care how gay or how fat you are, bad games are bad games. Time does not matter. This is a bad game.
Nobody is going to think you are davinci just because you locked every single door in the whole entire fucking game

none of the ISO files on this website are corrupted. Trust me ive gotten this message over a hundreds times. Windows just says corrupt on old iso files.
Use anyburn to extract the contents of the iso to a folder on your desktop. Its the best it doesn't ask for money ever. And it works with every disc format even weird ones (bin cue mdf iso etc)

The ISO files are corrupted.
Your install guide is not working correctly, the page is just refreshing infinitely.

I got this when it first came out on the PC and to date is one of my favourite Star Trek games. At the time Honor Guard at decent graphics and the Klingon theme gave it a great setting for a FPS.

Alright here it is. There are two versions of the pack (both about 255 MB). Neither include the modified DLL file that removes the CD check as that is essentially a cracked file that bypasses copy protection and I definitely don't feel comfortable distributing that. There are instructions elsewhere online that explain how to do it yourself with your own copy, though. My version also disables the cutscene videos from playing as I have never been able to get them working on modern systems, but that's neither here nor there as that function is, again, not included here.
1) This is the simple pack that comes with UMX files made straight from the CD tracks without any alterations. The altered MAP files included merely redirect from CD tracks to the included UMX files
ive downloaded the music and map files as close to the instructions as i could follow and when i was finished i got the title is missing error i replaced the maps files with the unreal versions and the music was sure where to put it so i put it in the sound
I installed the game and followed all the install instructions, the game is playable but only at 800 by 600 and the music isn't working at all even with the music fixes. But why are there two music replacement folders when they have the same map and music files?
