Playing On Windows 10: Issues, Fixes, and More Issues
So far, I have:
- Downloaded and installed DOSBOX Staging 8.1 (unofficial continuation of DOSBOX development)
- Downloaded Windows 3 For DOSBOX (pre-installed asset streamlined for use with DOSBOX)
- Downloaded Ram Doubler (fix for Windows 3 memory error which prevents many programs from running)
- Mounted the game MDF image to a virtual drive within Windows 10
- Edited "WINDOWS.BAT" in Windows 3 for DOSBOX to insert commands to mount the game's virtual drive as a CDROM, and the Ram Doubler image file as a floppy
- Launched Windows 3 within DOSBOX, and installed the game and the Ram Doubler, and restarted
- Launched game and received error that the game has not finished setting up and Windows needs to restart (T-T)

if you got an ISO and it's for windows 3x, then the current build of Windows 10 would not be compatible with it. you need a windows emulator I use Oracle VM VirtualBox

Hey so I mounted the mdf. file and attempted to run the setup but it says it can't run on my computer and I've tried running it in compatibility mode (windows 95, 98) but nothing works. Any help would be awesome!

Help please. I have it mounted, but now what? It says "this app can't run on your PC" when I try to run the setup.exe no matter what compatibility mode I try.

To install the game, download and install Daemon Tools Lite: https://www.daemon-tools.cc/products/dtLite#page. The .mdf file will now be associated with Daemon Tools and you will be able to mount the installation disc.

i remember i played this back when i was a toddler but now im curious if i can play it again for free somewhere on the internet because i want to look at my childhood again and share it with my children please
