Wow! It's incredible to find my year long project from 1995 here after all these years. Those were very different times, the era of dial-up internet, which I only had access to about once a week. It was just me and my brother, sitting in front of our PC for countless hours, creating the game's artwork pixel by pixel.
The game itself was programmed using the Borland Turbo C++ compiler. Looking back, I can't believe how much time, energy, and passion we put into this project.
After completing the game, I was completely exhausted. I started working on another game, but eventually gave up. I guess "Shazy - Adventures of Hackman" was my first and ultimately my last game as an indie developer.
Finding it preserved here after more than 30 years brings back a lot of memories. Thank you for keeping this little piece of gaming history alive.
Sincerely, Sohail Khan creator of Shazy - Adventures of Hackman
