i spent too many hours on that game as a kid, trying to get my hands on any star trek game i could. I'll leave it to nostalgia, and say this is a great game, 10/10

Software does work, but you need something like windows 98 to run this vintage software.

Has anyone found a solution to add the contents of this game into Warp 2? I have win 11 and the game runs perfectly when I run it in 95 up to XP SP3. But it won't recognize the CD for the Deluxe version of SSC or the addon pack.

I'm trying to import the different ship designs from this game into Warp II, but Warp II doesn't recognize the mounted .ISO. It seems the ShipMed folder is also corrupted. Any chance a revised file could be uploaded?
And on a related note, any chance of getting Starship Creator Deluxe? That has a few additional ship classes too.

If you have an interest in subjects such as engineering or vehicle design or have an interest in space travel (and especially fans of 'Star Trek', who I should think the game was primarily aimed at), then you'll enjoy this - although it does get boring fairly quickly. But It's not a game, it's simply designing spaceships; there's no gameplay whatsoever. It's good for what it is but is definitely a 'niche' release - It's classed as a simulation but even that description is stretching the facts a bit! A must for Trekkies, but It'll be a long while before I'll be having another go, if ever.

Singlehandedly one of the most pointless bits of software at the time. There is no game to this. Nothing to play. You simply makes some ships and do nothing with them other than send them through the simulator.
