Worlds of Legend: Son of the Empire

DOS - 1993
Also available on: Amiga

Sequel to underrated Legend (a.k.a. Empire), Worlds of Legend continues the predecessor's storyline and great gameplay, with several enhancements.

The real-time play (where you see other parties marching on the map and the passage of night and day) and good adventure-style puzzles are augmented by better writing, more plot development, more potential party members you can recruit, more monsters and magical artifacts, and even a larger map. It's essentially the same game as Legend, but with a different plot and more of everything.

In short, if you like the first game, you'll definitely like this one. Thumbs up!

ah man to see this game again .... i played it for hours on PC ... days ... weeks ... probably months ... and i remember being so close to completing it ... but some bug meant my characters got stuck or something and couldn't move, man that drove me nuts

Tried every possible combination of the words legend, heroes, warriors. Worlds of Legend, this is the game I was looking for. A fun and involving game that's almost impossible to complete but u do have a Bard on the team who will play you some soothing music to take the edge off the struggle. Check it out, for fans of the isometric view i also recommend Heimdall and Cadaver.

This was one the first games I got addicted to. Simple, challenging & fun. even after months and months of play I never finished it. Time to try again I think!
