Commodore released the CDTV in 1991, wrapping Amiga 500 hardware and a CD-ROM drive in a black set-top box meant for the living room rather than the desk.
It sold poorly, and its library mixed CD games with encyclopedias and other reference discs.
WinUAE and other Amiga emulators run CDTV discs on modern hardware.
