Amstrad released the CPC range in 1984, selling the computer, monitor and tape or disk drive as one set. It sold strongly in Britain, France and Spain and gathered a wide games library.
Titles ran from arcade conversions like Gryzor and Rick Dangerous to Prince of Persia and countless budget releases across the CPC 464, 664 and 6128.
Caprice, WinAPE and similar emulators load CPC tapes and disks on modern hardware.
