The beta goes down at 08:00 Paris time, in a few minutes. We rebuild the database from the live site. It comes back in about an hour.
The structure of the files is messed up and won't play sound aside from the PC beeper, the SOUND directory should be moved within the DATA directory, then the soundblaster should work. Also the UNIVBE directory containing display drivers is missing and may be needed, you can copy it from World at War 2 Stalingrad.

Has anyone been able to get artillery to work when running on a Mac?

Figured out the artillery assignment -- you have to hold down the ALT key to change the cursor to the target icon. I guess I can deal with the sound issue.

This entire series is great. It is easy to learn with a lot of ability to replay the game with different results. Completely recommended.
