Thank You Narrow Watch, changing UDB to Devastation gave me a strange white pop up but then the game started! again thank you, i also installed the patches and no-cd as well beforehand, v390 patch was tagged by my virus detector as malicious so be careful with that patch.

I had the exact same issue ZEBERDEE described, 'Press Fire to Start' stuck screen. The solution was to, while on that screen, quick save then quick load (check in Setup - Controls - Misc)

When Klick to Start, i get a Blackscreen.

How can i fix this ?

The LGU Repack put "PUA:Win32/Creprote" on my PC. I don't have the technical knowledge to know what that this means but it doesn't sound good and windows defender removed it. the game seems to run fine now but its still concerning

The AI is surprisingly good imo. I've completed the single player story mode and every time the game was a challenge and played differently due to the very well designed ragdoll models and AI controlling the NPCs. I was very, very surprised that the developers had to close business. So many people like FPS games and this title is really a very well made game. It's much better than many titles made by popular and rich companies. I'm very sad that another excellent development team disappeared. The developers of this title really should have been distinguished among the great ones like Acclaim and Rage.

This is my childhood game! I've been looking to play this game again for ages. It works great on windows 10, the only problem is that the game crashes every time i try to change the resolution, so currently its sits at 1024x768. Any workaround?

I have the original copy of this game and could not run it, I see some other people have the same problem, I patched the game to the latest v1.390 and used NOCD cracks but still asks for the damned CD Key. Turns out I was using the wrong patch, I had the European (UK) version of the game, and the latest patch for this version seems to be v1.0.381 , What i did to get it workinf was installing from the CD, it installs the Retail version (v1.0.3667) then execute the game and introduce the CD Key, this will make the CD Key to be remembered in the Windows Registry, then patch it in steps (v1.0.381 european - v1.0.390 american). This way it should work with all the updates. You can get the patches from the MODdb page of the game.

It ask for a cd . nocd crack on internet does not work . this game dont work at all.

I got this to run on windows 10, BUT there is still a problem.
When I start a new game, it go's through all the intro video and cut scenes fine, but when you actually start the first level, when it say's 'Press Fire To Start', it just seems to get stuck. Pressing escape will bring up the mission details, and then when you go back into the game, it still shows the 'Press Fire To Start' screen, but if you use movement keys, you can actually hear yourself moving about. Anyone have any ideas?

Great games.. work flawlessy on Win10 x64 with Intel HD Graphics.

If your game doesn't open, try this:
-go the game's directory, and look for an .exe called "udb"
-make a shortcut out of it and name it "Devastation" (for practicality)
-use this .exe to play the game

Had to make this in order for the game to run on Windows 10.
