Here's a piece of trivia for you: this is the first game to be powered by the Build Engine (Tekwar, Duke Nukem 3D, Shadow Warrior, Blood, etc.) In late 1999, Scott Miller (Apogee) explained: "We had a deal with an Asian company to produce a game, but the deal was never actually signed and delivered. However, they were working on the game anyway, and released (to our knowledge) only a demo. Since it was never widely available over here in the states, we never legally pursued them over it." Furthermore, Ken Silverman (who programmed the engine for Apogee) added: "Apogee was going to license the engine to a new team in Hong Kong. Very shortly after, the project was cancelled due to communication problems. I wasn't involved with the dealings myself, but I'm pretty sure that they weren't supposed to release an unfinished demo. Of course now that's just a piece of ancient history."
