ok, so I just wanna mention this as I'm on linux and I got this running and beautifully. I tried wine at first and, it worked, but not great results, only getting 15fps in the first proper level. I switched to Proton, specifically Proton-GE Latest, which I'm guessing is 11-3 now, and it works beautifully. Point I'm using an AMD Ryzen 5 5600X (12) @ 5.2GHz, AMD ATI Radeon RX 7700 XT, with 40GB of DDR4 ram and on Arch Linux 7.1.5-zen. ran wonderfully, 60+fps. figured I'd help

Are there any files with Russian localization of the game?

FYI, the ISO also includes German and maybe other languages too!

For anyone else who can't get the original nocd patch for this game to work (Error I'm experiencing is "Fatal Error Can't Find" for reference). I found this on github https://github.com/arves100/ffloader/releases/tag/v1.0 which doubles as a nocd patch and works for me.

I managed to install it and it turns on but its so slow, any ideas how to fix it? Maybe im using wrong display setting just before the came comes on?

When you get the 'insert disc' notification here's what to do: 1. Mount the ISO-file (right-click, 'mount') 2. Start the game by hitting furfighters.exe Have fun!

So I reinstalled the game twice and somehow it is working again. Might have been a hiccup of sorts...

I have been playing this awesome game for a couple of weeks now. No need for a emulator, it just ran. And now it keeps telling me to insert the CD. I did install the patch, but I can't get it to work.
Does anyone have a solution for this?
