This was really disappointing.. I downloaded both versions of the game and got them to run on Windows 11, but when you launch the game.. you can't accelerate your car.

For those who are having trouble running this game or installing it, I’ve created a simple step-by-step guide below. First of all, since the file is provided in a BIN format, you’ll need software to convert BIN files into ISO files. This makes the following steps much easier. To convert BIN to ISO, you can use tools such as WinBin2Iso (Windows), PowerISO (Windows). Another powerful and free option for Windows is ImgBurn, which can create a new ISO file from a BIN/CUE pair. Recommended software: • WinBin2Iso: A simple option for Windows, with support for files larger than 2 GB and a portable version available. • PowerISO: A versatile tool for Windows that lets you convert, edit, and mount disk image files, including BIN/CUE to ISO. • ImgBurn: A free and efficient program for Windows that can create disk images, including BIN to ISO conversion. Once you’ve converted the BIN file into an ISO: 1. Mount the disc image. Use a virtual drive utility such as WinCDEmu, UltraISO, Alcohol 52%/120%, or Daemon Tools Lite. 2. Launch the installation. If autorun does not start, run Autorun.exe in compatibility mode for Windows 2000 or XP. 3. To install and play Velocity X on Windows 10, you’ll need 7-Zip and WinCDEmu, in addition to the Velocity X ISO file. This file can be mounted with WinCDEmu. 4. During installation, right-click the Velocity X ISO file, choose a drive letter, and mount it. The installation wizard will then launch, prompting you to click Next and accept the default options. 5. After installation, the game icon should appear (usually on the desktop). Before playing, check the display settings: enable the 32-bit option to prevent glitches and configure the graphics to match the recommended settings. 6. Important: You must mount the ISO every time you want to play. The game was designed to check for a CD, and it will not launch without one. Once mounted, the ISO will stay accessible until you unmount it. If properly installed, Velocity X should run smoothly on Windows 10, with most modern machines handling the maximum resolution without issues. So you need an ISO converter to be able to access the files, however, I cannot find a way around the need for a CD copy of the game...Does anyone know a location for a crack or something?

Used to play this game all the time with my little brother when we were kids. We would get a total of one hour of computer time between the two of us on weekends so we would play at the same time. I would drive and he would shoot the weapons. Oh, memories.
