How to Play
If you're playing the game on modern systems - replace original .exe file with fixed .exe file.
Installing the game on 64-bit systems might be troublesome, here's step-by-step guide by Uka how to do that (first mount the disc image by using utilities like Daemon Tools Lite, WinCDEmu, UltraISO, etc.) :
- The game has a 16-bit installer, so InstallShieldWrapper is required for installation on 64-bit systems;
- On Windows 7 or newer OS, you need to add the d3drm.dll library to the game folder, if it is not previously installed in the system;
- Desktop color depth should be set to "Medium (16-bit)";
- When starting the game, messages appear that: "NT is not suitable for it" and "the letter (?) is not assigned to the CD drive" - just ignore it;
- To play audio tracks, the disc image must be mounted in the first drive (use mounting utilities like Daemon Tools Lite, WinCDEmu, UltraISO, etc.);
- By default, the sound is turned off for some reason; in the main menu, you need to go to the settings and move the sliders for CD music and sound effects.
Note: the RIP version has a low detection rate, probably due to an outdated DLL file.
